My insurance career began in 1988 with the Guardian Royal Exchange and then moved into brokering in 1998. I set up IFM Select Nuneaton in 2011 and ran this for 8 years before being purchased by Needham’s. My favourite car is Tesla and I have owned two other electric cars but a Tesla is the goal. I love a cruise but I did really enjoy New York. I like to play golf badly and watch football in my spare time.

Emma was born and educated in Coventry and started her Insurance career in 1998.  Starting with The Insurance Line she has managed to work in all areas of insurance along the way. Her last role was for quite some time so gained lots of valuable knowledge and experience she also completed her Certificate in Insurance Qualification with the Chartered Insurance Institute. Away from the office Emma is married with 3 children and enjoys spending her time with her family as much as possible holidaying, shopping and days out.  She also seems to be taxi service for the children’s Karate and Netball hobbies but wouldn’t have it any other way.

I started working in insurance in December 2018, starting at a specialist motorcycle insurer before moving to commercial insurance in 2022. I hate the cold so love to get somewhere hot any chance I get, ideally mainland Spain or one of the Islands as I studied Spanish for 7 years and love the culture. I have two children who take up most of my time, but when I do get some time to myself I can be found baking, going to gigs or out with friends.

I have worked in the Insurance Industry for 30 years and during this time, I have undertaken various roles for several different Companies, ranging from underwriting, sales, compliance oversight and management. I joined Needhams 4 years ago and enjoy helping business owners navigate through the world of Commercial Insurance and keeping up to date with developments in the Industry. Outside of work, I enjoy camping and the great outdoors, weather permitting.  I love travelling and have been lucky enough to visit many different countries, mainly in Europe and the Middle East. I am a huge dog lover and volunteer for an animal rescue centre, both dog walking and undertaking home-checks on potential adopters. I have an 18 year old daughter who is studying at University and visit her whenever possible. I also have family in the North East who I visit when I can so spend lots of time driving. My favourite car would be something stylish with plenty of mod-cons to keep me occupied on long drives

My career started in 1981 with Britannic Assurance which lasted over 18 years , moving on to working at a Financial Advisers practice for over 10 years. As I wanted to experience Commercial Insurance, I progressed for a further 7 years working at a Commercial Brokers handling claims, compliance and administration.  My interests are keeping up to date with insurance news and legislation and in my spare time I enjoy daily walks with my Cavalier King Charles, also occasional longer field treks with my daughters rescue dog a chocolate Labrador.  I am keen on all sport especially tennis, which  I like to play socially at a local club when I can.  My ultimate dream car would be a Bugatti Chiron.

Outside of work, my family plays a big part in my spare time; I always enjoys a good family gathering and I swim every morning before work! I also enjoys a long walk to blow away the cobwebs.
